Event Description: At age 42, McCue was fatally shot Feb. 9 while planting a plant in his front yard.
McCue was a popular lifelong Beaches resident with generations of deep family ties in the community.
McCue had worked for various fire departments on the First Coast. His service also included training soldiers in Afghanistan to assist the soldiers to detect land mines.
The City of Jacksonville recently voted to allow the renaming and upgrading of the Beach Blvd/Beach Marine Boat Ramp and Park to "Mike McCue Park and Boat Ramp".

The Event will take place on Saturday August 20th from 12pm-7pm

We need to raise money to make this a reality.

If you can't make the Benefit please visit www.mccuepark.org where you can purchase your paver which will be engraved and is a wonderful opportunity and a symbolic way to honor or pay tribute to any individual or organization. Celebrate a graduation, marriage or anniversary. Honor a new baby. Remember a loved one. The possibilities are endless.

We will have raffles, 50/50 drawing and a Silent Auction. If you can donate items please contact [email protected]. If we all get together and help in any way we can this Park will be awesome.
