The Jacksonville Mud Crusade Race

The Jacksonville Mud Crusade Race is a nice and dirty 5k (3.1 mile) event. If you are registering as an individual, you will select your preferred wave time. Waves are released every 30 minutes starting at 9:00am. If you are registering as a group, only the team captain will select your wave time. We will always do our best to accommodate everyone with their preferred wave time, but it is not a guarantee. You will be emailed your assigned wave time at least one week prior to the event.

Our Mud Crusade team is comprised of a group with as much experience in challenging physical fitness as any team could have.

Course designer, Mark Chmura, is a former three time Pro-Bowl, Super Bowl Champion professional football player from the Green Bay Packers. Mark is never afraid to get down and dirty, and wants all Mud Crusade participants to push themselves to be the best when competing in his mud races.

Our next course designer, Chris Watts, is a former U. S. Marine Corp RECON officer. Chris might be hiding out in the bushes at each mud run just to make sure you’re not quitting on him.

Matt Peters, a former LAPD officer, sniper and SWAT trained, has punished himself for decades to pound his body into the fittest shape in order to conquer any mental or physical challenge. He has used obstacle course mud racing as part of his physical training to get into top shape.

joe_sixpackAnd last…..and yes…..probably least…..is our designer John Thomas. John is a middle aged dad who can leap any kids toy in a single bound, drink any cocktail at the speed of light, and use his carpentry skills to build grueling obstacles for Mud Crusade. We’ve also seen John run our mud race…it’s not pretty.
