It’s been almost ten years since Young Jeezy dropped his 2005 debut album Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101, but the Grammy-nominated rapper has stuck close to his roots. The album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, and featured the hit single “Soul Survivor”. He released his sophomore set, The Inspiration: Thug Motivation 201 (2006) and his third album, The Recession (2008), both of which hit #1 on the Billboard 200. The single “Put On”, featuring Kanye, was nominated for two Grammy Awards and earned him a Gold plaque.
