Event Description: Hello Partner, =0An =0An My name is Sebastian Alexander, Chairman for the Duval County Soil and Water Conservation District. On October 26, 2011, we are having a fundraiser to raise funds for the Annual Fred B. Miller, Jr., Regional Envirothon and The Joe B. Forshee, Jr. Natural Resources Conservation Speech Contest. The Envirothon seeks to combine classroom learning with hands-on outdoor activities. During the event students are educated and tested on such topics as aquatics, soils, forestry and wildlife. The Natural Resources Conservation Speech Contest is designed to develop leadership through participation in public speaking activities and stimulate interest in conserving our natural resources, with a particular focus on Agriculture. =0An =0AnRead more about the events at: =0An =0An =0AnYour Duval County Soil and Water Conservation Board is large a supporter of the Envirothon and Speech Contest and we are seeking to build on their success with your help. I am inviting you to our fundraising event on Wednesday, October 26th at BlackFinn American Grille, 4840 Big Island Dr. Suite 105 Jacksonville, FL at 6pm. There will be appetizers and refreshments for a pre-paid ticket cost of $20. All proceeds will go to support our children in these two events.
