Event Description: Please Join us for the soft opening of our new venue, Praxis.

Alisa Simmons of Public Citizen’s Global Trade Watch in Washington D.C. will be speaking about the impact the proposed free trade agreement (Trans-Pacific Partnership) will have on our communities. We hope to have a broad range of organizations and community members present, as this agreement will impact us all, in areas including; wages, small business and small farmers’ rights, the environment and climate change, the right to GMO labeling and agroindustry standards, access to generic medications,
access to the internet, and the right to require multinational companies to comply with environmental and labor laws.
