Our organization was inspired by my best friend Carolin Coxwell and her mother Pastor Mary Coxwell's determination to one day walk again and our passion to making that dream come true "One Step At A Time".Carolin faced many challenges from a car accident resulting injuries that confines her to a wheelchair for life. She had to focus all her energies to battle the physical, mental and spiritual challenges that her paralysis forced upon her. Carolin knew that the strength she garnered to overcome these challenges; could help others facing similar hardships. Our organization has been raising money since its inception which funded physical therapies and supplies for our recipients. We have gained new members whom we had the pleasure to assisting them as best as we can on a limited budget. Our organization is slowly growing and needing support. One of our primary goals are to fund a qualified candidate to undergo a regimen of adult stem cell treatments with physical therapy to promote and enhance their goal of walking again through our new grant program Operation C.U.R.E (Community United on Recovery Enhancements). Please support our mission by participating or sponsoring the Walk of Hope Foundations fundraiser events along with our Annual Golf Tournament or donate on our website. All contributions are greatly appreciated which allows us to continue and expand our efforts while partnering with other organizations on overcoming paralysis "One Step At A Time".The Walk of Hope Foundation Inc's mission is to enhance the quality of life to individuals experiencing health or medical challenges with paralysis. We will provide resources to promote a healthy, productive, and safe lifestyle. Also, we will help support public or private organizations, scientists, and clinical trials on all research aimed at curing spinal cord injuries. If you are unable to attend these events and would like to contribute towards our efforts or stay up to date on our activities, please visit our website for more info or click the "DONATE" button.
