For this year’s tour, the Dave Matthews Band will shake things up a bit with two sets per evening and a bunch of special guests. With the high-profile pull that the Dave Matthews Band has, you can expect some doozies. Dave Matthews Band will play acoustic as well as Dave Matthews songs with all the bells and whistles.

“I was talking to Carter (Beauford) about how much I still like just sitting around playing music together. It’s how we started — in the basements of Carter’s and my mom’s houses,” Dave Matthews said in a news release. “Our shows are loose, but we started thinking that maybe this summer we should make them looser and bring some of that feeling to the stage. It seems like the opposite of a safe plan, so why not?”

Pre-sale tickets for all Dave Matthews Band shows will be released on Jan. 16, 10 a.m. local time for fan club members. On Feb. 3 at 10 a.m. local time, pre-sale tickets for Dave Matthews Band will be available for Citi cardmembers. For the general public, tickets for Dave Matthews Band will be released on Feb. 7 at 10 a.m. local time for all Dave Matthews Bandshows except for the Aug. 29-31 dates, which go on sale Feb. 21 at 10 a.m. ET.
