Event Description: Mantra Collective & Casting Out Presents: Keinemusik Showcase Sydney
OFF SONAR, Boiler Room, Amsterdam, NYC, London and of course, Watergate in Berlin, these are just a handful of places Adam Port plus &ME have been sighted shepherding punters through the night with their unique blend of house and techno sounds.
This September, both Keinemusik bossmen will be gracing Sydney shores for a special showcase orchestrated by none other than local legends Mantra Collective and Casting Out. The two brands are collaborating for the very first time to bring a special piece of Berlin to Sydney.
Keinemusik is not the type of record label as you know it. When putting out a record, the guys will wrap it up personally, refine it with artistic splendour, stamp it and seal it with a kiss, before it ends up in stores or on your turntables. Keinemusik is a DIY-operation, not because it makes that imposing impression or because they like to wallow in nostalgia, but just because it feels right.
To celebrate a respected label of this caliber, one must carefully handpick a bunch of serious selectors of thumping warm grooves. Lucky for us, the local scene is in full bloom this season! Mantra Collective, Casting Out, Locus Cadre, Braille Sydney plus Benji & Statz (SubBass Soundscapes) will all be adding their very own flavour to the mix to create the perfect lockout-free evening with Keinemusik.
Oh and did we mention the Funktion1 Sound System? Full Throttle Entertainment will have The Basement Level of The Imperial Hotel rumbling from start to finish. Don’t hit snooze on the event of the year!
