Deck The Chairs – Holiday Celebration: A Night of Music and Dance

Event Description: Join us Sunday, December 14 in the Seawalk Pavilion and Latham Plaza for a FREE evening of talent, music, dance, holiday merriment and the arrival of Santa! Bell choirs, choruses and orchestras will serenade and entertain us from the main stage as we gather around the 23-foot Holiday Tree! We will be collecting non-perishables for our friends at BEAM in the buckets underneath the tree, so please help BEAM with your bag of non-perishables. We will also have a crowd sing-a-long with “O Come All Ye Faithful” and “Silent Night!” Join us a for a new tradition of celebrating the holidays in Jax Beach! Arrive early for best parking and the arrival of SANTA! Refreshments, Tshirts, posters and holiday ornaments will be for sale. (All net proceeds benefit the Jax Beach Life Saving Corps.)
5:30 – Santa arrives (Photo opportunities)
6:30p – Dance performance by Nancy Dance Studios
7:00p – Holiday Music featuring:
String Quartets from Jax Symphony Youth Orchestra (presented by the Beaches Residents Actively Supporting the Symphony)
Hand Bell choirs from Christ Episcopal and Community Presbyterian Church and St. Paul’s By-The-Sea Episcopal Church.
Choirs from Christ Episcopal Church, Community Presbyterian Church, St. Andrews A.M.E. Church and St. Paul’s By-The-Sea Episcopal Church.
