Mythical Mountain in Mandarin, Jacksonville is one of thousands of comic book shops celebrating Halloween ComicFest on Saturday October 29th. It’s a day full of free comics, “The Greatest Halloween Costume Contest Ever,” games, activities and more for comic and Halloween fans to experience together. During Halloween ComicFest, 32 full-sized and mini comics will be available at Mythical Mountain for anyone who wants to participate. This is the second year Mythical Mountain is celebrating Halloween ComicFest and we are excited to offer the community a fun, family-oriented event where everyone can find a comic they will enjoy. Now in its fifth year, Halloween ComicFest is also a great time for families to participate in fun activities, meet people with similar interests, and check out what Mythical Mountain has that we can help them discover and spark a new interest in.We at Mythical Mountain want to spread the word that comics are perfect for today’s times. Comic books continue to grow in popularity as an increasing number of popular TV shows and movies are based off comic books. Halloween ComicFest is a great opportunity for the community to join with their local comic shop for some Halloween-themed fun in addition while picking up free comics they can continue to enjoy and keep collecting.Halloween ComicFest kicks off at 11:00am and runs until 7:00pm at Mythical Mountain.
