New Year’s Cruise from Jacksonville
One cruise line offers a cruise out of Jacksonville for New Year’s. You can celebrate the new year at sea! It’s a good time to relax and let someone else do the cooking and cleaning. And there’s a big party on the ship.
Carnival Cruise Line offers a Bahamas cruise from Jacksonville that departs December 31, 2018. The 5-day cruise goes to Princess Cay and Nassau in the Bahamas. Princess Cay is a private resort island owned by the cruise line.
On Carnival cruises, New Year’s cruises are highlighted by a huge party on Lido Deck, and most lounges have live music. At about 11:30 PM, a formal countdown begins throughout the ship and roaming waiters serve champagne. There are complimentary noisemakers, hats, and party favors. Schedules permitting, one of the formal nights on board is New Year’s Eve.
