2016 Easter Keg Hunt
One of Jacksonville’s most popular events is back by popular demand on Saturday March 26th, 2016. Limited to 100 teams, the event is a intense and grueling scavenger hunt for the Golden Keg. This year, the hunt will take place in Downtown Jacksonville along our beautiful riverfront. Teams will solve clues to find painted Easter Kegs that will be hidden in a designated 20-30 block area in our downtown core. The first team to find all the kegs including the final Golden Keg will win the Keg Hunt. The winning team will win Bud Light For A Year * plus additional prizes. Second – 10th place teams will also receive runner up prizes and trophies. Costumes are encouraged. “Best Team Name” and “Best Dressed Team” also receive prizes. This years hunt will only allow walking and running plus access to use the skyway or river taxis.
Bikes, hover boards, vehicles or any other forms of transportation are not permitted. The event this year will be headquartered at River City Brewing Co in Downtown Jacksonville next to Friendship Fountain. Teams will consist of between 4-5 team members. Registration will take place from 10:00-11:00 am. The Keg Hunt will aprox. take 1 1/2 to 3 hours. The Award ceremony and post race festivities will begin at 2pm. All participants will receive drink specials all day at the River City Brewing Company.
