Event Description: The FLETCHER HIGH SCHOOL WRESTLING TEAM is HOSTING a one day Community workout to raise money to save SPORTS in Duval County Schools while helping to promote health and fitness for all ages. This is where FUN and FITNESS come together for a great cause of helping our youth…the next generation. Let's do this together!
I would like to get as many local celebrities, professional athletes and media involved in this event as possible to help support this cause and to draw in the support of the city.
If I can get enough people involved and interested in doing a workout for $10.00 per person, I will hold workouts throughout the entire day with 30 minute breaks in between workouts. I will have wrestlers there from around the county working out too. We still need to raise about $40,000.00 to save our sport before October 1st. Time is of the essence!!!
If you can help or know someone that would be interested in helping me with this effort. Please contact me ASAP. I would love to get items like Sharks, Jaguars, Suns, Giants, T-shirts, posters, hats, tickets to games, movies, whatever I can get to raffle off and do giveaways with throughout the day. I intend to promote this event through Facebook, Twitter, local news stations, The Beaches Leader, Times Union, 1st Place Sports, My9oh4.com, local gyms and any other way I can.
