Put the rivalry in your own hands! Choose team Flordia or team Georgia and come out to play for the Florida Georgia Block Party Trophy and braging rights! November 1, 2013. Noon to 6 PM.
Prizes:
Florida Georgia Block Party Trophy to winning University
-Winning team will receive Jacksonville Scene champion shirts, private suite for an (one) event in 2013/14 at the Jacksonville Memeorial Arena, or VIP passes to Cousin Catfish that night.
-Runner up prizes (TBA)
Format:
-All teams will receive dri-fit team shirts
-Double-elimination 4 vs 4. Everyone is guaranteed 2 or more games.
-Your team can have up to 8 players on the roster
(No gender limitations. Open to everyone 18 and up).
-Games will consist of two 15 minute halves.
-Mid-field first down. 3 downs.
-Games start at Noon and will end at 6 PM.
-Jacksonville Scene will provide all referees & coordinator for free
-Jacksonville Scene will provide game footballs and flags for free
-No metal spikes. Plastic or rubber cleats recommended. Gym Shoes allowed.
-Trophy ceremony will be on stage at the FL/GA Block Party at 7 PM.
Cost:
-Just $125 per team (divided amoung players) $128.75 total with processing fee
